Christopher called me tonight and asked me if I still had all my Transformers. As soon as he asked I knew what he wanted to do - Ebay! Wonder Twin Powers Activate! We are going to sell our prized Transformers before the new movie hits the theatres. Christopher is like a hound on a scent when it comes to finding stuff to sell on Ebay. My Transformers would have stayed in my toy box in my closet for several more years to come. I'm going to sell everything except my favorite Autobot - Jazz. I just glued on one of Jazz's back wheel stickers. He's still looking sharp! I think it's time to let go of the twenty plus year old grudge against my mother for buying Christopher both Optimus Prime and Megatron. So unfair.
It felt like Christmas morning when Christopher mentioned that he has a Solid Gold poster. I LOVED Solid Gold. I loved Darcel Wynne, the african american dancer with the long hair. I wanted to be a cross between her and Nancy McKeon, "Jo," from the Facts of Life. I'm going to hang it proudly in my living room.
